CHARMOISE SUCCESS AT J36
The appetite for Charmoise was clear with all classes well bid for and selling beyond rates seen in previous years.
Rams kicked off the sale and topped at 1000gns from CM Jennings, Selside; this ram went home with Mr Alan Lambert, Lupton who awarded him the ‘best ram’ in the pre-sale show. We thank Alan for his time overseeing the show this morning.
Other rams sold to 850gns from IT Jones, Anglesey. This all modern meat machine of a ram found its new home with D & DW Prickett, Farleton. M Prince, Derbyshire sold his usual quality consignment, topping at 750gns and selling to Messrs ER Holliday, Wigton.
Only a small selection of females forward, selling to 250gns from both IT Jones, Anglesey and M Prince, Derbyshire.
